[NEWS] Ubisoft remaking Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame 4Android & ios

After remaking the original Prince of Persia in 2011 and publishing their work on the App Store and Play Store, it looks like Ubisoft is planning on doing the same thing with its sequel, Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame.

The remake will feature enhanced visuals, sound, and naturally, touch controls, while also dropping the “2” from the title. It certainly does look impressive, and it seems like Jordan Mechner and Ubisoft (re)made it into a 2.5D adventure game. There’s not much else to tell about it, besides to probably expect several difficulty modes like seen in the Prince of Persia Classic.

The game trailer above promises that Prince of Persia: The Shadow and The Flame will come out “soon”, which hopefully means by the end of the month. It also doesn’t specify on which mobile platforms is the remake coming to (except showing a brief glimpse of it running on an iPad), but we presume that just like the first one, PoP: TSaTF will be coming to a vast amount of both iOS and Android devices.
